Remmington!

The lovely little Remmington the Robot has made his appearance, finally.

He is part of the ever expanding range of Robots in the BOO!beloobie family.

This cutie is very huggable, would be a lovely addition to any little boy or girls room.

He's made from Felt, suede and some super soft printed fleece.  The button detail on his tummy makes him all the more special...love him already!

I'll be keeping in touch the next couple of months, the next BOO!beloobies is on their way....there is approximately 30 new little ones waiting for me to get going and bring them to life, so keep a look out everyone!

You're Invited!

My latest project was to make some Invitations for a Christening.  What to do was the question, as I'm a toy maker, not a graphic designer!

So I put my own brain power to the test and came up with the cute BOO!beloobie Orli the Owl Invites, with little plastic pockets on their tummies to hold a printed invite!

It's such a cute idea, I will be rolling them out later on in more types of animals.  They can also be used as a photo frame and plush toy in one, so your little one can have his favourite toy with him, with his favourite persons picture on the belly!

Another application for them can be as cute place card holders, and subsequent take home present at kids themed parties!  Now that's a cute idea isn't it?  Let me know what you think!

Mary had a little lamb.....

The latest BOO!beloobie mobile is for a little girl called Leabelle...she's only about 2 weeks old...and I hope she grows fond of her little lambs as she gets older!

The mobile has loads of cloud and heart details, and off course some adorable little lambs as the theme.

It's already available for sale as well on Etsy, and can be customised for any room and colour scheme, but this one is in pink and lime green with cream and white accents.

It's good to try something new every now and then!

I had a special request a while ago from a dear friend of mine that is getting married in May.

She needed some props, photo booth props to be exact to be made for her wedding.  One of her requests was a life size flower that they would be able to pose with.

I got a picture from her, and didn't think much of it, until I had to start sourcing the materials I would use.....and only then my head started spinning on how to go about making this GIANT flower.

Little did I know that it would take loads of man hours, 150 % more brain power than I felt there was capacity for, and my stress level going thru the roof!

By Friday night though, I had calmed down, because I finally cracked it!  And by 10 pm, the flower was done, to be delivered the next morning at 9 am.  Cutting it close, I know!

I'm grateful that I did it, it is a valuable lesson that I have learnt, and the knowledge of how to build a GIANT flower will never be taken away from me!

Now, just no one get any ideas.....I will not be repeating this endeavour....!

BOO!beloobies in the Woods!

I've just finished a Woodlands range of toys, Hot Air Balloon and a Large Woodland themed Mobile for a special little boy who turned 2 months on Friday!

Little Owen was spoiled by his mommy with all these goodies.  The toys included a Holly the Hedgehog, Fibi the Fox, Ribbon the Rabbit and Orli the Owl.

I hope you love your room with all the new play things baby!  Made with love......from me and from your mommy!

How the BOO!beloobies look at the Lekker Life Fees!

So here is how the BOO!beloobies looked at the Lekker Life Fees!  Aren't they just gorgeous, especially when they are all together!

The Lekker Life Festival is starting tomorrow!

The reason I've been missing in action for the last 3 weeks is starting tomorrow!

The "Lekker Life Festival" in conjunction with heART in  the Garden is kicking off the festivities on the 21st of March, and running until the 25th of March at the Silverstar Casino in Krugersdorp.  There are loads of family entertaining, food and exhibits, and I can tell you, the artwork on display at the heART in the Garden gallery is going to be mind blowingly stunning.

I'll be posting pics of the event later in the week, have over 80 of my BOO!beloobies there, and we are hoping to turn some heads!
